- The new version is in fact 4.3. It is a simple chip upgrade if your
- previous bios version was 2.62. However, if you have version 2.53 in
- your modem, you will have to send the modem back to PPI to get the
- upgrade as there was some hardware change in the PC288LCD between the
- 2.53 and 2.62 versions (I don't know what those are).
