  24. The new version is in fact 4.3.  It is a simple chip upgrade if your
  25. previous bios version was 2.62.  However, if you have version 2.53 in
  26. your modem, you will have to send the modem back to PPI to get the
  27. upgrade as there was some hardware change in the PC288LCD between the
  28. 2.53 and 2.62 versions (I don't know what those are).
